Admax Network Supports Earth Hour 2010. Turn out your lights, show support on March 27.

17 March 2010, Regional– As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility drive to raise awareness of green initiatives, Admax Network is supporting Earth Hour 2010, a major global sustainability movement. For this movement, Admax Network aims to reach out to more than 76.1 million people on their online advertising platform to support Earth Hour throughout Southeast Asia.
Earth Hour began in 2007 in Sydney, Australia, when 2.2 million homes and businesses turned off their lights for one hour. Since then, Earth Hour has blossomed into a global sustainability movement which, in 2009, saw hundreds of millions of people across 88 countries go dark for 60 minutes to pledge their support for the climate change initiative.
This initiative is in line with Admax Network’s partnership with Green Kampong, a foremost conservation community that aims to increase awareness of environmental responsibility and green initiatives. Green Kampong is founded by well-known TV personality and eco-activist Nadya Hutagalung, who has been the ambassador for Earth Hour 2010 for 2 years running.

It might just be an hour, but it is a reminder of what we should be keeping in mind at all times. In the quietness of the darkened night, make a silent pledge to remember her. Earth Hour. One Hour.
